The Sky is Falling!

Finally, winter has come to Ohio (for a few days at least)! If you had the nerve to venture outside your den anytime during the past, oh, month or so, you might well believe we simply skipped a season. Frizzy fur and perpetual dampness gave almost a sense of spring and, therefore, thoughts of Morphicon only being a few months away. Alas, it was not to be.

This has not stopped your staff from holding regular meetings, however, and we promise you the best is yet to come. That said, if you have any comments, thoughts, ideas, or recommendations, feel free to e-mail them to publicity@morphicon.org and we will make sure they get directed to the correct fur. We can't promise everything will be acted upon but it will be looked at...or devoured.

M&T Comics has been a Dealer with Morphicon for a several years now with their wide selection of comics, graphic novels, videos, card games and more.

Brerbadger has been in the business for over 20 years now, starting with a shop in New York and even having one in England for a time, though now most of his business is done at various conventions as well as over the internet as well as mail order, specializing in shipping to APO and FPO military addresses.

Morphicon always does their best to have as diverse a selection as possible in their Dealer's Den, and this year will be no exception! Whether you're looking to pick up some new comics, finish off your collection of older ones, get a new tail, grab a sketchbook, or even get some art to go in your sketchbook, the Dealers Den is the place to find it!

The Den will be open on to attendees:

Here at Morphicon, we celebrate fursuiting by awarding quality construction and performance. In fact, Morphicon is one of the few furry cons to have a competitive masquerade judged by experienced costumers.

Morphicon 2012 - Fables & Furry-Tails

Once upon a time there was a furry convention in Columbus, Ohio named Morphicon. Now Morphicon was a small con, not like its more famous cousins, but it welcomed any and all who were looking for a bit of fun and relaxation in May. Now, it so happened that Morphicon decided it was time to pay homage to its roots. Looking back further than its birth in 2003, Morphicon chose to focus on the origin of all cons, namely that of folklore. Thus, for 2012, Morphicon is proud to announce its theme will be Fables and Furry-Tails. Pulling from stories passed down through the ages, we will celebrate anthropomorphics from all cultures to make this con one like never seen before. Please join us May 3rd-6th next year to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event!
