Get your art tools ready, 'cause it's time for our yearly T-Shirt contest!

All you creative artist-types out there have until March 15 to submit line art that you'd like to see on this year's official convention shirts!  On to the rules...

• If you submit artwork to the contest you will have the pre-registration discount deadline extended until after we make a decision. Entering artwork into the contest automagically qualifies you for this extension!
• Contestants must submit a black and white line-art illustration that fits this year's theme, "Fables and Furry Tails".  Any typography should mention the convention name, year, and theme.  If you do not feel comfortable adding typography, I will be glad to do it for you.  (It will not affect judging)
• Remember, this is going on a T-Shirt! Your line-art and/or lettering should be thick and clear, and the content rating should be G to PG-13.  Please send your highest quality digital formats.   Raster formats should be at least 300 DPI and in .tif, .jpg, .png, or native Adobe formats.  Vector formats are gladly accepted, and should be in .ai, .eps, or .svg formats.  When sending native Adobe formats, be sure to save them as CS3 or lower.
• Do NOT submit any art content that you did not create, or use pirated fonts.
• DO NOT SEND POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS.
• First place winner gets their graphic displayed on our official Morphicon shirts, and a free Patron Registration!
• Second place winner gets their image printed on the pocket programming guide and a free Sponsor level Registration!
• All appropriate entries will be showcased in the convention book as well as the website during the course of the contest.

If you'd like to submit original illustrations, clip art, comics, poetry, or short stories to be considered for the conbook, send your hi-res images or vector files (or plain text) to publications ~at~ morphicon.org by April 1, 2012.
